I often find that conferences lack direct relevance to the fame and business of golf, but this was far from true of the 2014 HSBC Golf Business Forum. I found every session to be thought-provoking and I took away many new ideas which have helped us at The R&A. It was certainly time well spent.
Golf needs to take a broader approach, its not just about the game. Golf must be flexible, it must ensure its sustainable, and it must uphold traditions of the game but instigate innovation.
This conference has been absolutely outstanding. Every single topic has been discussed and it’s enlightening
